Introducing new tariff structure for EEA destinations

We are excited to announce some significant changes to our tariff structure at VoIPstudio. Starting in May, we have implemented new rates for calls made within the European Economic Area (EEA).

Local, EEA, and International Call Rates

To ensure transparent and fair pricing, we have introduced three distinct rate categories for European destinations: Local, EEA, and International call rates.

Local Rate

The local rate remains unchanged and applies to calls made within the same country. For example, if you call from a Spanish number to a Spanish destination, the local rate will apply, just as before.

EEA Rate

The EEA rate is a new addition designed specifically for calls within the European Economic Area. When making calls from any EEA number to destinations within the EEA, such as calling from Germany to Poland, this rate will now apply. The EEA rate is a specially reduced tariff, ensuring cost-effective communication throughout the region.

International Rate

The international rate remains the same and applies to calls made from non-EEA call presentation numbers to EEA countries. This rate is unaffected by the recent changes.

2K Bundle Update

To align all our plans with these changes, we have updated the list of destinations included in the 2K Bundle to match the new rate structure. Some destination countries have been excluded when called from outside the EEA. Please check the updated full list of destinations and numbers covered by our 2K Bundle. If you have been affected by this change, you can open a support ticket in the app or contact your account manager directly to explore possible alternatives.

EEA Call Presentation Numbers

Customers who have EEA call presentation numbers will benefit the most from these changes. By using their EEA number to call Europe, they can enjoy significantly reduced rates. This means calling European destinations from within Europe has become much more affordable and convenient.

Customers Outside of Europe Calling Europe

For customers outside of Europe making calls to European countries, the rates remain unchanged. However, due to the adjusted 2K Plan included destinations and numbers, some destinations that were previously covered in this plan for calls from outside the EEA have been removed.
