To serve both groups better, we’re introducing a new way of packaging features this September:

Core – everything you need for business-grade communications.
CX Addon – advanced tools designed for customer experience and call center teams.

What’s included in Core

Every Core plan (PAYG or bundle) includes all the essential PBX features for business communication, at the same competitive prices you know us for:

  • Voice, conferencing, and collaboration tools
  • Standard IVR (single-level menus)
  • Visual flow designer (for office / business communication scenarios – coming soon)
  • Call queues, routing, voicemail
  • Secure call history and call recordings
  • 12-month retention for SMS, fax, call history, call recording, and voicemail

Core remains a complete cloud-based PBX for business communications – powerful, flexible, and cost-effective.

What the CX Add-on will unlock

For teams that run customer support centers, sales organizations, or who want to go beyond standard PBX functions, the CX Addon will add a powerful new layer:

  • 5-year data retention for SMS, fax, call history, call recordings, and voicemail
  • Complex IVR (multi-level, multi-instance, chained menus)
  • AI-powered CX tools: Call analysis and scoring, summaries, actions and more
  • Autodialer for outbound sales and customer campaigns
  • Advanced flow designer for complex call center environments (coming soon)
  • Enhanced supervisor dashboards with KPIs, SLAs, queue performance, live call monitoring, heatmaps, and more (coming soon)

What this means for you

  • If you sign up for Core today: You’ll get the full PBX feature set at today’s price with no risk of missing out. Core will continue to be a powerful, complete business communication package.
  • If you’re an existing customer or join today: We’ll be in touch in the coming weeks with great upgrade options so you can choose whether to add CX features. Nothing will change for you unless you decide to upgrade.
  • If you need advanced CX tools in the future: You’ll soon be able to add them when it suits your business, without paying for bloated licenses you don’t use.

This ensures that Core remains streamlined and cost-effective, while CX Addon provides the extra depth for those who need it.

Launching in September 2025

The CX Addon will launch in September 2025, but that shouldn’t stop you from getting started today.

In the weeks leading up to launch, we’ll share more details and provide upgrade options tailored to your account. You’ll have the choice to continue with Core exactly as it is or unlock new CX capabilities with a competitive launch offer for new and existing customers.

VoIPstudio Core continues to give you everything you need for business communications. The CX Addon will take you further, with AI, analytics, and call center tools ready when you are.
