With the launch of the Supervisor Dashboard, team leaders, HR managers, and supervisors now have direct access to key tools and reports—all without needing full administrative rights.

What’s New?

The new Supervisor Dashboard is tailored specifically for users who oversee daily operations and need visibility into call activity and team performance, but don’t need access to broader system configurations. This new dashboard offers access to:

  • Call Recordings – Review past calls for quality assurance and training purposes.
  • Contacts – Manage customer and business contacts with ease.
  • Reporting – Access key performance data, including call volumes, response times, and team activity.
  • History – Quickly review detailed logs of past conversations to understand communication patterns.

Cleaner Separation Between Admins and Supervisors

One of the biggest benefits of this update is a decluttered and clearer admin experience. Previously, admins handled everything, from user settings to performance reviews. The admin view now focuses on system configurations and core platform management, while supervisors get a dedicated view to monitor and manage their teams.

Admins still have full access to the Supervisor Dashboard if needed, but they can also assign the Supervisor role to team leaders, HR staff, or department heads. This makes it easier to delegate responsibilities without exposing sensitive system settings.

Practical Use Cases

The Supervisor Dashboard is ideal for businesses running call or contact centers, where managers need fast access to performance data to track agent efficiency and customer experience. But the benefits don’t stop there. Any business with customer-facing teams can use the dashboard to improve internal oversight and training.

For example:

How to Enable the Supervisor Role

If you’re ready to put the Supervisor Dashboard to work, enabling it is simple. Admins can assign the Supervisor role to selected users in the “User Management -> Security” settings within VoIPstudio.

Once assigned, supervisors gain instant access to the new dashboard and its powerful tools through the Supervisor tab in the menu. If you’re already an admin user, access to the Supervisor Dashboard will automatically be granted without having to apply it manually.
