New COVID-19 NHS helpline 119 available on VoIPstudio

The UK government is about to announce the introduction of a dedicated COVID-19 NHS number. In a bid to manage the large number of calls to NHS number 111, a new COVID-19 helpline will be available on 119 as early as next week.
Although the official date for the launch of this new phone number is yet to be confirmed, we have rushed to action to ensure this new emergency number is available to VoIPstudio customers. Our network now supports this number and as soon as an announcement is made that the helpline is up and running, we will release new version of the Softphone with the “Emergency” contacts updated to include 119.
